This also features a luxurious tented spa offering Ayurvedic & international treatments, a gym, Swimming Pool with a deck, bar and a space for live performance.
Every evening you can dine at the open air theme dinner in “Vallom” at The Park on Vembanad Lake, accompanied by a live performance or a cultural talk.
Before that you may just wish to explore the stillness around you by relaxing by the Pool and watching boats go by; or even indulge in the idyllic pleasure of fishing. Of course there are the rejuvenating and elaborate treatments at the tented spa – Aura; and you could stretch yourself – body and soul – through the evening yoga sessions or a workout at the Gym.
As you come away from your Apsara experience, you wonder how it could have been everything – so calming and restoring, such an adventurous exploration, so simply luxurious, - and how could four days have created so many stories and memories to take home.

Luxury Lake Cruiser Designed with luxury and comfort in mind, this eight - cabin cruiser is a floating boutique hotel in the tranquil waters of Kerala’s Vembanad Lake. The 28m, 300 sq. m boat is built on two levels; with eight rooms, a crew cabin, a galley, saloon, dining area & a sundeck.

The cabins are compact with LCD TVs, DVD Player, Safe, Minibar, high-speed internet connectivity, and a wide range of books, music and films. Displaying individual works of art, each cabin has a double bed, study desk & chair, and a bathroom. The interiors combine elements of Kerala’s magnificent heritage with the quiet sophistication of European yachting style. The textural furnishings applied to the walls and ceilings of the interiors include veneer, rich leather, silk and natural cottons with marble used in the bathrooms.

The dining area seats 24 guests with panoramic view of the backwaters. Guests can enjoy international cuisine on the cruiser as well as sample local fare and produce along the shoreline. Local cultural & Educational tours also ensure the full Kerala experience. Foot, head and shoulder massages will also be available on the boat offering a completely rejuvenating experience.

Rasa ResortOn the outskirts of Jaipur lies the historic Amer Fort. Adjacent to its meandering fort wall is an ancient gateway beyond which you discover a valley transformed into a geometric garden. Forty futuristic tents that look like canvas cubes rendered in patterns are inter - spaced with sculpted landscape against a background of rocky hills. This combination of contrasts evokes a range of emotions and tastes that the word "rasa" stands for. Located 15 kms north of Jaipur, this unique exploration of modern Indian nomadic tents is for the traveller who appreciates an experience that is distinctive and yet of local origin.

Enter a 500 sq. ft. tent where the tactile and sensual elements come alive in the detailing of ideas and materials. Each tent has large bay windows with light filtering latticework and a high roof that recedes in a slope above a four - poster bed. The interiors are done in shades of brown stone, wood and leather giving a sense of pared down luxury through a strong contemporary aesthetic.

DevirtnRajasthan brings to mind a land full of colour, vibrance and cultural splendour. Devi Ratn located in Jaipur has a vocabulary of design that looks inwards at this rich source for inspiration. The all suite Devi Ratn boutique hotel is a place that combines lyrical spaces with bold architecture. All the 63 suites at Devi Ratn are celebrations of textures, patterns, latticework and colour. Planned along crescent shaped streets at varying heights, every suite is ensured a view of the Aravali Hills. There are also 3 Villas, set in an enclosed courtyard, each with a private pool and a Jacuzzi. The 1900 sq. ft. Villas are based on themes of metal - copper, brass and silver. The 12,000 sq. ft. Spa is a quiet and meditative place of rejuvenation. Based on the architecture of an Indian step - well, the pace of life shows as you descend into an all white space where the sound of water soothes you.

OBEROI AMAR VILAS – AGRAWith spectacular views of the Taj Mahal, no property in Agra can claim a better location than the Oberoi Amarvilas. Guests can watch the changing colors of the great marble structure at sunrise, midday, and at sunset from their elegant rooms. In addition to its unrivalled location, Amarvilas is simply a beautiful property, with white marble floors, richly colorful textiles adorning the walls, and tasteful handicrafts from throughout northern India. We recommend rooms with a private terrace, which allow unadulterated views of the Taj Mahal, and the hotel can arrange a candlelight dinner on the terrace for a truly romantic, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

OBEROI RAJ VILAS – JAIPURRajvilas is located on several acres of pristine Rajasthani countryside, just minutes from the region's thriving capital: Jaipur. Once inside this majestic palace-like property, the luxury and elegance of the decor is overwhelming. The rooms and villas are set among sprawling green lawns, with dramatic pools and fountains. The Oberoi Rajvilas is a perfect base for regional touring or simply enjoying the fairytale grounds of the property. Be sure to try out their new spa that offers a variety of western and Ayurvedic body treatments.

TAJ LAKE PALACE – UDAIPURA 250-year-old white marble palace located right in the middle of Lake Pichola (guests take a boat to and from the hotel), the Taj Lake Palace is one of the most memorable places to stay in India. We recommend staying in a suite to get the full "Lake Palace experience" -- suites are decorated with rich silks, lovely murals, and ornate wooden furniture that pay homage to the building's rich and storied history. Touches like inlaid glass floral motifs around the doorways demonstrate the care that goes into even the smallest details. Sample some of the Indian and international cuisine served at the three restaurants: Amrit Sagar, Jharokha, and Neel Kamal. The Jiva Spa offers Indian rejuvenation therapies ranging from aromatherapy massages to Ayurveda-based techniques.

OBEROI UDAI VILAS – UDAIPUR Ranked as # 01 Hotel in the world - Udaivilas, designed to resemble a traditional Rajasthani Palace perched over the banks of Lake Pichola, is intended to be the finest luxury resort in India. Mr. Oberoi dreamed of building this property for many years, and began drafting plans immediately following the success of Rajvilas and Amarvilas. Set in 30 acres of landscaped gardens, fountains and pavilions, this resort has 96 rooms, all of which have private terraces for al fresco dining; most have views of the City Palace and Lake Pichola. Eighteen rooms feature private swimming pools, as do the four Deluxe Suites, and single Maharaja Suite. Once completed, this will be the ideal romantic getaway in India's most enchanting city.

AMAN-I-KHAS – RANTHAMBHOREMaharajahs in Jaipur once had exclusive hunting rights in what is now Ranthambore National Park, and the area has always been considered a precious national treasure. Now visitors can explore Ranthambore much as the Maharajahs did, in magnificent Mughal style. This Aman property features just ten luxury tents, each of which resembles a spacious mini-hotel, with a series of opulent "rooms" partitioned with cotton drapes. Three separate tents house the dining room, sitting room, and spa treatment area. An outdoor terrace and fireplace provides a comfortable focal point for the property and allows guests to absorb the surrounding natural beauty.

THE OBEROI VANYAVILAS – RANTHAMBHORE The Oberoi Group expands their line of luxury resorts in India by creating new properties in Udaipur and Ranthambore. Opened in November 2001, Vanyavilas features 25 luxury tented-style accommodations adjacent to the famed Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Designed as a luxury jungle camp, this is the first true resort in any of India's game or wildlife reserves. Each air-conditioned tent measures nearly 800 square feet and is elegantly designed with teak flooring, canvas tented roof, and a private outdoor lounge surrounded by walled gardens to ensure total privacy. It is from here that one may steal a glimpse of an elusive Bengal tiger, with assistance from an expert guide in one of Vanyavilas custom-built safari vehicles.

COCONUT LAGOON - KUMARAKOM Coconut Lagoon is an enchanting property located among the narrow waterways and canals of Kerala - this is one of India's most magical natural areas. The resort, which is reached via a tranquil boat journey, is comprised of genuine Kerala-style cottages that are brought over from different parts of the region. This traditional style of accommodation, combined with a modern and luxurious interior, makes Coconut Lagoon a must for anyone traveling to South India.

THE TAJ UMAID BHAWAN PALACE – JODHPURCompleted in 1943, this majestic yellow sandstone Art Deco palace was originally constructed for the Jodhpur royal family. Indeed, the 347 rooms do feel fit for a maharaja, and the surrounding 26 acres of gardens, lawns, and courtyards are lovely for an evening stroll. The impressive lobby has vaulted 100-foot-high ceilings and the guest rooms are equally grand, decorated in a tasteful Art Deco style that emphasizes clean lines -- and we love the deep marble bathtubs! Restaurants include the Trophy Bar, Risala, and the Pillars, which offers commanding views of Mahrengarh Fort and the city. Be sure to save time for a dip in the Zodiac Pool or have a cocktail on the terrace, overlooking some of the most impressive gardens in Rajasthan.

THE TAJ MAHAL PALACE & TOWER - MUMBAIAn architectural marvel right across from the Gateway of India, this historic hotel has been the place to stay since its grand opening in 1903. The interior combines Moorish, Oriental and Florentine styles, dramatized with vaulted ceilings, onyx columns, graceful archways and hand-woven silk carpets. Guest rooms are located in two wings, the Palace and Tower, each representing a different era. We recommend the sea-facing Heritage Wing Rooms: these luxurious rooms have been refurbished with contemporary amenities, but the elegance of the past can be seen in the antique furniture, and artwork and artifacts that line the walls of the corridors and living spaces.

To ensure that our guests while away on sun-drenched sands, our cottages are set on the palm-fringed beach.

DWARIKAS – KATHMANDU The late owner of this property, Dwarika Das Shrestha, started the hotel as a labor of love: after seeing old buildings with ornate wood carvings being torn down, he began collecting the pieces and eventually used the salvaged material to decorate his hotel. The now-legendary property has become something of a living museum and a treasury of artisans' work that would otherwise have likely been lost. Each of the 74 deluxe rooms and suites are decorated in a unique style, though each features 16th century windows and Nepalese artwork, and some feature a private outdoor courtyard. Dwarika's hosts some of the best events in Kathmandu, including weekly outdoor barbecues by the pool, film screenings, and local music shows.

TIGER TOPS JUNGLE LOGGE - ROYAL CHITWAN NATIONAL PARKThe stilted lodges and traditional roundhouse of Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge seamlessly combine comfortable luxury with the wild surroundings of Royal Chitwan National Park. UMA PARO Nestled among dramatic snow-capped mountains and valleys, the Uma Paro seamlessly integrates itself into the eastern Himalayan countryside, one of the last pristine mountain landscapes on earth. Though local Bhutanese artisans used traditional methods in designing and building the 20 rooms and 9 villas, the result is somehow a clean-lined modernism that is both relaxing and peaceful. No luxury is spared: among other amenities, all rooms feature oversized bathrooms, DVD players, heated towel racks and in-room yoga mats. The one-room villas all have their own private spa and courtyard for absolute privacy. Using local organic produce, the restaurant serves Bhutanese cuisine combined with pan-Asian flavor and accents. More pampering awaits at the Como Shambhala spa, which offers Asian-inspired holistic treatments, a steam room, sauna, indoor pool and a yoga room.

AMANKORASticking to the luxurious, refined signature style of the Aman resorts, the Amankora offers 24 suites located below the remains of the 17th century fortress Drugyel Dzong. Each suite features natural rammed-earth walls, gently sloping roofs, and wood-paneled interiors with a king-size bed, a traditional bukhari wood burning stove, and a large terrazzo bath. The dining room opens onto a flagstone terrace and showcases spectacular panoramic views of the Dzong and the distant snow-capped peaks. To help guests unwind after a day hike, mountain biking, or a visit to the monastery, the spa treatments usually start with a hot-stone bath filled with local herbs followed by traditional treatments and remedies. The living room is also an ideal spot to relax and sip a glass of wine, with floor to ceiling glass windows and comfortable sofa and lounge chairs.
